ABOUT

I am a Quant Financial Associate, currently working at FinPlusTech, New York. 

I graduated with a master's degree in Finance and Risk Engineering in May 2019, and I am ready to take over the world (not currently going according to the plan due to the pandemic).

I worked as a project lead at OppenheimerFunds as my master’s capstone. After that I joined ClearPrism as a financial analyst and had some fun with mathematical modeling and forecasting. Later, I joined the graduate program at the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, as a Financial Analyst in the Banking team, and enjoyed cheese and chocolate in Switzerland.

After I finished the graduate program I moved to Berlin for its startup scene (and döners) and started working at  an Investment Management startup and then worked as a part time co-founder on an Insure-tech product. Recently I have joined FinPlusTech and I've been working on multiple financial products.

I enjoy data analysis, financial modeling and finding meaningful results by looking at the data and solving real-world problems. 

I have lived and worked in 5 countries; Iran (born and raised), US (studied and worked), Chile (spent some time there working on a telescope), Switzerland, and Germany and I have an international life style.

I spend most of my day staring at my computer: working on financial data, trading, reading, tweeting and watching Netflix.
