HI THERE! I’M NILOUFAR

I am a Product Manager /  Quant Analyst, currently building scalable software solutions.

I graduated with a master's degree in Finance and Risk Engineering from NYU in 2019.

I worked as a project lead at OppenheimerFunds as my master’s capstone. After that I joined ClearPrism as a financial analyst and had some fun with mathematical modeling and forecasting. Later, I joined the graduate program at the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, as a Financial Analyst in the Banking team, and enjoyed cheese and chocolate in Switzerland.

After completing the graduate program, I moved to Berlin drawn by its vibrant startup scene (and yes, the döners). I started working at an investment management startup, followed by a role as a part-time co-founder on an insure-tech product. Later, I joined FinPlusTech, where I worked closely with the data, reporting, and product teams. That’s where I discovered my passion for product management. Since then, I’ve been leading the development of a financial management platform as a product manager.

I’ve lived and worked in five countries: Iran (where I was born and raised), the US (for studies and work), Chile (spent time working on a telescope), Switzerland, and Germany. It’s safe to say I’ve built an international lifestyle.

Most days, you’ll find me in front of my computer—diving into financial data, building things, reading, tweeting, and occasionally binging a good Netflix series.

I share my home office with my fluffy mini poodle, who takes her role as Chief Distraction Officer very seriously.
